Medium red-brown with a thin head - no lacing. Malty-toffee aroma and a heavily malted flavor with no hint of hops. Medium-bodied. Missed the boat on this one.

Pours thick with a thin head. Interesting color. Looks like a brown rainbow. Smells like the urinal and tastes just the same. For the love of God! Where's the hops?

I went to a pizzeria, I ordered a slice of pizza, the fucker gave me the smallest slice possible. If the pizza was a pie chart for what people would do if they found a million dollars, the fucker gave me the "donate it to charity" slice. I would like to exchange this for the "keep it!" .. . pours a medium brown tan .. light head but constant .. . good for a quaff but not too integrate .. a tame bitter.

On tap @ McNellie's Pub in Tulsa. Nice light amber-brown color with a perfect head and some beautiful lacing. Sweet malty and spiced aroma with some ripe fruits in the background - almost like a Belgian. Taste is great blend of sweet malts and biscuits, touch of ripe fruits, then a noticeable hops bitter. This is one nice ale - thoroughly enjoyed it. It drinks like a much bigger beer.

Light copper pour with an amber tint. Good sized white colored head and some spots of lacing. Faint malty aroma of bread, flowers, and nuts. Biscuity taste along with a mild fruitiness and a faint bitter hoppiness. Mild to lighter in body, a session beer for sure. Overall not bad, but it left me wanting more in the flavor department.

Pours medium brown with perfect clarity & small, creamy head. Beautiful sheets of lacing cover the pint as you drink. The aroma boasts earthy and toffee notes. Malty flavor with a bitter finish. Medium bodied & well carbonated. My favorite session lately.

Sampled from draft at McNellies, Tulsa, at the brewery and in bottle. Pours copper-amber with a faint haze. Creamy head and nice lacing. Its aroma is quite spicy with floral and dark fruit notes. Pleasant bitterness with a zesty hop bite. Bread and caramel malt backbone with some of the typical fruity English yeast esters. A well-done special bitter not experienced often outside the UK.
