This unadulterated stout will bring you back to the craft beer days of old. Like its namesake, we are bringing this style back from its presumed death. Notes of dark chocolate, coffee, pretzels, and pumpernickel will lead way to herbal and floral notes from a responsible amount of late addition hops. Finished by a healthy amount of bitterness and gentle alcoholic warmth, this full bodied stout is perfect for the cold nights ahead. For all you looking for non-pastry stouts, this one is for you

Pours dark chocolate with a thick tan head. Aroma produces roast malt, dark chocolate, earthy, bready and not-so-slight salty notes. Flavor adds dark chocolate, roast malt, bitter hops and dark bread. Texture contributes decent smooth body and peppy fizz. Dark as they brew!
