Polarnattens Paradis is an Imperial Coffee Stout inspired by the starkly beautiful polar night in the northern regions of Scandinavia, where during the winter the sun never rises above the Horizon. This beer is densely dark and incorporates several flavors associated with winter such as light smokiness, subtle rye spiciness and, of course, coffee.

Pours deep coffee sable with a thick, rather fine-bubbled and persistent dirty tan head. Aroma features - where to begin? Roast malt, coffee, smoke, charred hops, a bit of toffee, a bit of molasses. Flavor delivers roast malt, molasses, chocolate, quality coffee, smoky and toffee tones - and yes, a bit of hops. Texture provides firm body and lively fizz, and a little more smoke on the back end. Natten your polar in Paradis!
