    Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

Presentation: It was served on tap in a pint glass from The Pearl Street Grill and Brewery. Appearance: The body has a dark brownish color with a light creamy tan head. The head was thick with good retention and thick lacing that coats the glass before slowly sliding down the glass. Smell: The aroma is big sweet and very malty with some roasted notes and hints of smokiness. Taste/Mouth feel: Its flavor has a big malty sweet character with notes of brown sugar and toffee. Also there are some mild hints of roasted barley, lightly smoked malt and very a mellow and warming alcohol presence that adds some nice complexity. The body has a solid medium to full body with nice smooth texture and well rounded mouth feel. Its carbonation is about average and it finishes with a malty sweetness. Notes: A nice solid brew with a very lovely appearance.
