Deadwood is our Bourbon Barrel Aged Russian Imperial Stout. Nitrogen conditioning gives this rich, strong beer a pleasant creaminess. We use a neutral 2 row malt as the base for this beer. Chocolate malt and Roasted barley are used for color and flavor. Munich malt helps give this beer richness as well. Only a single bittering hop addition is used. A traditional english ale yeast is used to ferment this strong stout.

Taps opaque coffee with a nice tan head that leaves good lacing. Aroma presents molasses, roast malt, mocha and earthy tones. Flavor offers honey sweetness, roast malt, chocolate, coffee and earthy character. Mouthfeel features decent body and fair fizz. Dead on!
