Woodthrush is a slightly maltier, less bitter farmhouse ale with a light spicing of coriander, lemon peel, and grains of paradise. The malt bill is similar to that of a French-style biere de garde, with some light bready and caramel character. However, instead of a lager-y French ale yeast, we ferment it with our “farmhouse friends” blend of our favorite saison and Brett yeast strains, which gives it a lot more yeast aromatics and spiciness. It’s one of our best sellers and one of our favorites to drink as well!

Pours a dark orange color with white head. Spice, yeast, caramel, coriander aromas. Spice, caramel, yeasty, coriander flavors. Mouthfeel is medium bodied.
