The Enlightened Despot is an amazingly rich, complex and surprisingly drinkable Bourbon Barrel Russian Imperial Stout. Notes of chocolate, vanilla, and of course the delicious hint of Bourbon round out this robust stout. Aged for 100 days in 15 Year Old Wheat Bourbon Barrels, made with 10 specialty grains and containing over 78 IBU of American Hop flavor, this truly is a one of a kind beer.

Pours coffee sable with a nice tan head. Aroma offers roast malt, chocolate and molasses tones with a hint of coffee. Sweet flavor presents roast malt, chocolate, coffee and molasses tones. Mouthfeel features firm, viscous body and jazzy fizz. A despot you will be glad to rule you.
