Pilsner is the hoppiest beer from the Leopold Brothers' cellar. The hops come from an organic farm in the Hersbrucker region, which is a few kilometers north of Nuremberg. The floral aroma of these hops, called Hallertau Mittlefrueh, is inescapable in this beer, as is the soft sweetness of the Bavarian pilsner malt. A true German Pilsner, the bitterness in this beer is pleasant and soft.
