Bière ambrée coiffée d’une riche mousse. Sa robe pleine de fines bulles champenoises conduit avec elle des parfums de sucres et d’épices exotiques. Le tout est soutenu par la chaleur de l’alcool et de ses effluves.

Pours a huge frothy off-white head, very bubbly and has a sightly cloudy orangey amber appearance. Leaves chunky dirty lace all around. Aromas of oranges, mild spices, and has that Belgian yeast scent. Flavours are also yeasty, with notes of oranges, citrus hops, somewhat tangy especially in the finish. Some nice subtle notes of spices in the mix. Full bodied mouthfeel with great retention. Quite tasty and leaves a nice lingering bitterness on the palate.

Single bottle from the LCBO. Pours a hazy golden colour with a creamy-frothy off-white head that goes down quicker that what I expected, fizzing away and leaving a little lace, but not much. Fruity nose of grapefruit, orange and lime, with the Belgian Ale yeast and mild hop. No burning at all, almost no warming mouthfeel. Sweet tasting malt grain, but not overly like syrup. Balancing things are the spices, hop, Belgian Ale yeast, apples and light vanilla in the finish. Maybe not the best Tripel, but way above average.

The beer pours a dark gold with brown highlights, cloudy, and a thin white rocky head. Aroma is light fruit, spices, and citrus. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is light fruits, spices, some sweetness, and graint malt. Quite enjoyable.
