Lakemaid Beer is a limited release brew from August Schell Brewing Company and Rapala. Brewed in Schell's old world tradition, this classic American lager is a crisp, clean, refreshing beer, specially brewed to capture the flavor of the fishing country were the legendary Lakemaids swim. With a mild malt flavor like a soft summer breeze and the sparkle of hops that dances like sun on the water, this is the ice cold beer with a taste so good it proves that great fishermen never need to exaggerate.

This is a very good beer for sitting outside fishing. Nice malty aroma , nice feel, little thicker then normal. This brew has me hooked (so to say). Better then most out there, get it while you can.

This beer poured a clear golden color with a weak head. It had a somewhat grainy aroma with a smooth malty profile. It had a balanced flavor with a smooth crisp finish.
