Roeselare Style Oak Aged Sour Ale Fermented and Aged Wisconsin Cherries. This delicious cherry ale named in honor of the Belgian town of Roeselare, famous for centuries as the home of a particularly delicious sour brown ale, often augmented with sour cherries. Rôsie follow this tradition, using oak and Door County Wisconsin Montmorency cherries. Brettanomyces adds woodsy, earthy notes which balance nicely against the bright, snappy fruit, for a sophisticated experience as complex as any fine wine. Serve Rôsie in a tulip glass or champagne flute. With a nibble of dark chocolate, it's pure perfection.

Pours a dark pink, light bubbly foam .. very dry and clean .. . flavours of plum, cherry, talc, wood, and light funk .. . a great beer to start a tasting and thanks to John for sending this! .. . A good american example of a wild ale, and not to sour to scare away the normies .. . Lock me up! I'm a slasher! I must be stopped! -You're a what?- ..A slasher... of prices! I'm Simon Skinner - I run the local supermarché. Drop in see me later - my discounts are criminal ..

Gift from pfoxyjohn: lovely clear ruby pour with a well-sustained bubbly white head and tons of draped lacing. Very carbonated, like a soda pop. Aromas of sour Wisconsin cherries, tart and ripe, with some wild yeasties. Taste is a bit watery but nice and sour and tart cherry-filled. Thank you very much Mr. Pfister for this rare treat! Kim and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
