rewed for HOK Elanto pubs as beer of the month for October 2008. HOK Elanto say:
Laitilan Kievari Schwarz on 4,5-prosenttinen, lähes läpinäkymätön, hienostuneen paahteinen ja täyteläinen pohjahiivaolut. Laitilan panimoammattilaiset ovat valmistaneet mustalle oluelle perinteisen, paljon käymättömiä sokereita sisältävän pohjan. Oluen makeutta tasapainottaa tummien maltaiden suklainen karvaus ja hienonhieno, pieteetillä viritetty humalointi.

Pours out in a a adark ruby brown colour with a small off-white foam. Roasyu aroma with notes of nuts and coffee. Medium-bodied with notes of roasted malts, coffee and mils smoke. Grainy mouthfeel. Salty, slightly roasty and smokey finish.
