Can at the brewpub on my 2017 Quebec Beer Run. Pours an amber colour with a small head, a little ring around the neck. Becomes hazier at the last pour. Loads of dark fruits in the aromas (prune, dates) and nuts. Taste of alcohol, blended with the dark fruits and a decent amount of hops in the finish. A little rich overall, but a full Barleywine experience.

Bottle: Poured a clear amber color ale with a large foamy head with some retention and medium lacing. Aroma of light brown sugar with some very subtle dry fruits. Taste is also dominated by some brown sugar and sweet dry fruits. Body is about average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Not bad overall and quite easily drinkable with limited complexity.
