Strong, malty aroma has tempting notes of fruit and coriander and a hint of woody hops. It pours a dark golden amber with a fairly thick and fine bubbled light golden tan head. Scrumptious flavor fills the palate with sweet malt, fruit (apple plus pear and a snippet of banana), and coriander plus hints of caramel and woody hops. Gets the lips a-smackin’! Smooth texture is quite firm, if not too fizzy. Makes me wanna hop on a ship to Belgium.

Pours a lovely, cloudy honey colour. Nice foamy head. Very smooth for a strong beer. Warm on the way down. I will definitely buy this one again. It's a keeper!

A Dutch Trappist beer. Powerful at 8%, nice gold yellow color. Spicy with some coriander, nice bittersweet taste. Good long lasting bittersweer aftertaste, alcohol is there.

Pretty hard to get that cork off! Once opened though, poured a nice off-white head with large bubbles. Mildly carbonated. Has a medium golden appearance. Moderate lacing. Aroma is wheaty, and notes of vanilla. Getting some roasted malts in the flavour along with hints of caramel, hops, various mild spices and herbs. Some bitterness at the start but gives way to a smooth velvety mouthfeel. Good stuff.

Dark for a tripel, I thinks anyways. Orange rind and swedish berries, smells like carmel, but not when its finished, when it is being made (boiling sugar and water). Lime, maybe something else lime like, margarita mix perhaps. Very distinct aroma, still cant find the word I am looking for. Not tart like some other tripels, but very fruity. Nice yeast profile, but again, less so than the average tripel. Its good but a bit deviant from the style I am usually accustomed to. I like it though.

While this hadn't been jostled at all, it exploded when I opened it...so tread carefully! Pours copper, low white head. Mouthfeel is...tingy. Flavor is interesting, definitely a sipper!

Sampled on 7/23/2010. This tripel pours a medium brown color from a 33cl bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head, with nice lacing and good retention. The aroma is fruity, caramel, raisin, yeasty and sweet. A medium bodied triple. Malts are bready, ripe fruit, raisins, banana and yeasts. The hops are earthy. Nice carbonation. A very smooth, semi sweet dark fruity tripel. Nice balance. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet and fruity.

Copper with a small head clear and bright. Overly sweet yeast perfume aroma with banana bomb characteristics, aroma is way to sweet….blech……………… wow 9 volt battery carbonation sting on the tung. Sweet banana, yeast, caramel coffee cake, there is also a taste of the smell of non instant vanilla pudding boiling on the stove. Feel is to thin and I keep tasting a out of place cantaloupe in the finish. I didn’t like theis beer at first but now that I’m ¾ done the bottle and drunk it’s ok, mmmmmm what does that say about the beer if you have to get smashed in order for it to be just ok…….

A cloudy orange-yellow colored ale. A small, thin white head rises above. Settles fairly quickly, settling into a nice lacing. Cloves, honey and orange dominate the smells. There is a smoothness and an alcoholic bite here. But the body is disappointingly light. The alcohol dominates in the tasting. As in the nose, cloves, bananas, honey, and orange on the palate

Orange colour with a small fluffy white head. Sweet, nutty and yeasty aroma with notes of toffee. Sweet flavour of apricot, honey, spices and herbs. Quite flat body. Slighty spicy and hoppy finish. Nothing special, a decent tripel.
