Bière Triple de garde, de haute fermentation. Belle puissance, l'attaque est franche et vive. Sa rondeur et ses arômes en font une bière de dégustation. Sa recette personnelle et originale la rend typique et unique.

750 ml capped bottle. Poured in the original La Gaillarde chalice an unfiltered and strong hazy copper-brown coloured Tripel with a short one finger light beige foamy head that had a quite short retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Poor lacing. The aroma is moderate malty, fruity, sourish apples and woody notes. The flavour is sweety toasted malts, notes of caramel, fruity, grainy apples. The mouthfeel is sparkling, quite thin, even watery. This medium bodied Tripel has a dry sourish fruits finish. Surely a Tripel by the brewing process but this brew from the tiny brewery La Gaillarde has not really the expected qualities of an Abbey Triple.
