Can that pours a slightly hazy caramel-amber colour with a frothy light-beige cap, average retention, leaving some thick foamy lacing. Very malty nose with the caramel and nutty malts. Hints of hops and some decent dark fruit notes (raisin, dates). The flavours shows the fruitiness of those with apples. Hops balance things mildly. A refreshing, easy-drinking Irish Red ale.
