I believe this is made in the dubble style but is far from it. It was brown in color but that's as far as it goes. It had an off sour taste to it.

Pours with a cloudy deep red brown body topped by a huge natural head that leaves plenty of lace. Sweet and citrusy (orange/grapefuit) aroma with a slight spiciness and flowery notes. Sweet and citrusy (orange) flavor with spicy notes and a touch of yeast. The finish is sweet and slightly spicy. Full bodied and warming.

This was a decent beer from a brewer I had never heard of before and picked up by chance. The color was definitely amber, as the name suggests. It was also very carbonated, a little too much, however the lace was nice and long lasting. The bubbles were fine, but not creamy, and glittered in light. The aroma was nice, along with the flavor, but didn't seem to do anything for me. Hardly any sweetness to the start and ending very dry with a lot of fizz to it. It did seem to have hints of fruit, but the carbonation was too distracting.
