easily Kona's worst brew...almost no aroma or body. the look is typical of the style, the flavor is typical of the style, which is to say...BOOOOOORING. many other good one's to choose here.

Not so good. Pale golden olor with no head. A lot of chocolate hops in the flavor but that's about it. Mouthfeel is watery. I would have thought that Duke's would have picked a better beer to endorse. Too bad.

Pale straw color; good head stability and bubbles; fresh aroma and good mouthfeel; crisp and refreshing; acceptable balance and finish, but hardly above average.

Made by Kona for Duke's Canoe Club, a very worthwhile venue on the beach. From our table on the lanai (patio), we enjoyed spectacular scenery! (The ocean was nice, too.) Point is, the beer was a relatively minor part of the experience. Not much there there. It's blonde alright, with an OK head, a dishwater flavor, and toe jam aroma. Go to Duke's for the ambience and maybe have a beer. Or not.
