Poured out a sparkly solid, clear gold with lots of tiny dots of lacing and really good retention. The aroma is quite fragrant a very interesting blend of odd strong citrus of some sort or another, mint ?? and a shit load of bread...honey! Yes. That's it. The taste is pretty good too with lemon, bread and tasty malts. Goes down smooth, light to medium light bodied, finishes soft with a nice hop aftertaste.

Pours a yellow/gold with pillowy head and excellent lacing. Fresh aroma of minty hops, malts, and maybe some lemon. Mouthfeel is a bit thin, but smooth. Flavor is impressive: hoppy, lemons, and even some sweetness. I don't know if it is the heat, but this is so fresh!

Picked up a slew of beer today at BevMo, to take advantage of a 10%-Off coupon that was sent to me for being a loyal BevMo customer. And amongst the ussual 22's of Alesmith and Ballast Point, and sixers of Deschutes and Anderson Valley, I plopped up onto the check-out counter a weird four-pack of this one -- new to both myself, and apparently the beergeek community in general. First virgin review for this bad boy, here we go.
Semi-squatty 33cL green-glass bottle. "Brewed in Poland since 1927". Picture of an older gent in a flat-cap hoisting a big mug of beer. "It's pronounced `Keeper'". Good to know. Best before 310106.
Standard East European Lager, with all the rights and privledges thereof. That is to say, this not only looked like it's fellow countrymen's beers, but followed suite with the semi-malty bready aroma, sharp and rather clean flavor profile (nicely cutting the heat of a typical early August San Diegan Summer), and semi-sweet, fairly clean finish.
The backend sweetness is a little distracting, esp. when I feel like it's sticking to my molars long after it's gone done the hatch, but that's not really such a horrible fault, IMO.
This was an inexpensive 4-pack, and can't say that I rue the day that I crack open the other three left in my fridge. I've had worse -- I've had better.
Music: Witchfinder General's "Death Penalty" (yep, the infamous album with the topless chick on the front!)
