Perstephone was named after the Greek goddess of spring "Persephone" and is Keuka Brewing Company's spring seasonal brew. This is a German style Kolsch that is made with local honey and a touch of clove making it a great beer to pair with holiday meals. It pours a light golden color while releasing pleasant aromas of German hops. Flavors of malted barley and sweet honey along with subdued fruitiness from the specialty yeast linger on the palate after the first sip. This honey Kolsch is the perfect beer to say goodbye to a long winter and to welcome a new season on Keuka Lake.
