We have brewed a beer to commemorate the birth of our son. It is a strong dark beer which hopefully will keep until he is of age to drink it. Brewed in collaboration with Phil Lowry, Simon Siemsgluess and Chrigl Luthy.

Bottled (thanks TBone!). Very deep brown, close to black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, ashes, some roasted, toffee and caramel. Beautiful. Flavour is rather roasted, ashy and some liquorice, alcohol and toffeeish. Also some dark berries and mild wooden notes, Stinging sweetness. Alcohol burnt quite well on the way down the throat.
