Pours golden ambr with a fairly thick ivory head. Aroma has a strong malty note plus a fruity hint. Flavor is strongly malty, with crisp pomme fruit and subtle horehound notes. Mouthfeel has decent body and weak but persistent fizz. Old fashioned, maybe - still tasty.

A bright amber colored beer with a moderate sudsy textured, white head rising above. There's some hang time on the head. A thin ringlet is left Muted cherries in the nose, but the bourbon comes forward in the tasting. Smooth, creamy and very drinkable.
