Rated in Jan. 2012. Courtesy of a very generous person. Pouring out of a half liter bottle it has a mahogany like body and tan head. The aroma has big ole coconut and vanilla notes to start and flowing into sweet sweet malty like nuttiness. I get hints of bourbon like notes just around the aromatic edges of the experience. The taste is a sweet as the aroma hinted at, with a bazooka, with sweet nuttiness and then heading quickly into sweet nuttiness and robust notes of coconut and vanilla. I get a mild drying sensation somehow mixing with sweet smooth bourbon booze and spicy oak. This is solid smooth and well blended too.

Frothy tan head atop an amber-brown body. Medium bodied and very smooth. Lactose, caramel and vanilla coupled with toasted bread and a very faint barrel influence. Very approachable, and not as heavy as I was expecting. All around very nice, nothing stood out as exceptional though.
