Very crisp and edgy with an underlying flatness, an increasing sweetness counter balances the early sharpness. The taste of malt gains precedence as you approach the end of your half-liter. Volunteer Pils remains sharp enough to slice right through a rack of our spicy Chinese Oven smoked ribs.
