Woodie Gold is a nod to a classic European lager. We use noble Saaz hops for the spicy floral aroma and soft hop bitterness true to authentic Czech pilsners. A base of bread-like malt flavors from the finest pale barley provide a delicate balance. Softening techniques to duplicate the water found in the Bohemian countryside and cold conditioning give Woodie Gold its crisp refreshing taste. It might have been around the campfire during the road trip down to Baja. Or maybe it was in the lodge after a powder day up at Mammoth. Wherever it was, we realized the need for a beer that tastes good at any elevation. Enter Woodie Gold, the ideal beer wingman for the adventurous Southern California spirit.

Not great not bad...kind of a light but floral blonde ale. Good fresh but I wouldn't trust in bottles. Fairly traditional...flowers and a spice kick, light and crisp in body and flavor. M

I had this beer is probably one of the most beautiful spots to drink beer in the entire country. On the pier in front of the Hotel Del Coranado on Coranado Island looking out at the Pacific. The beer poured a medium gold color with white head that faded quickly. A light lacing formed around the glass . There was a wheat aroma and taste with hints of hop . This is one beer although very refreshing should be drank quickly and cold
