A friend brought this to our holiday party last weekend. Very similar to the Red Trolley, but with an amped-up malt profile. Sticky sweet. the hops have been picked up a bit, but just enough top still be noticeable under that avalanche of caramel. Good, but I couldn't drink a whole bomber of this.

At the La Jolla location via tap. Drawn a deep, rich amber-red with a light head. Laces forever. Plums, dates, toffee and caramel are distinct in the aroma. The flavor is marred by the pronounced alcohol... otherwise a pretty good beer.
