I was given one by a Polish-American neighbor. He gave it rave reviews. For me it was just another lager. Certainly better than a Bud, but then who said that was beer! Light gold bottle with carbonation evident. Taste, aroma and mouthfeel not much to rave about.

Meh. Not bad. I've had worse, both Domestic and Imported. The end.

I'm a sucker for East European beers for some reason. Maybe it's some sort of "Former Iron Curtain" stigma that draws me to `em. And some times, this weird morbid fascanation of mine pays off with a winner. More often? It's a bust.

But in this case, I think it splits the difference well enough. Went well with my reheated Pizza Hut Meatlover's pizza slices left over from last night.

Aroma? The weak link with this beer. What little that does get through my lousy sniffer is not very appealing. A bit of an "old gym sock" thing going there, to be honest!

But otherwise? A harmless beer, with still more character than most American macros out there. Closest comparison that springs to mind is Michelob, which is not a horrible beer either, IMHO.

To recap: meh. Not bad. I've had worse, both Domestic and Imported.
