2018 Description Tracklayer’s Kolsch is our take on the classic style that has been brewed in and around Cologne, Germany for the last 100 years. Pale, dry and traditionally lagered, Tracklayer’s balances a light fruitiness with biscuity malt notes, delivering a smooth, highly drinkable beer. Brewed with imported malt to a light straw colour, this is a beer that comes from a place where an honest day’s work is an opportunity and its reward is well earned. 2014 Stats ABV: 5.4% IBU: 52

Enjoyed a pint at Arrow and Loon, Ottawa. Pours a large frothy white head but goes away fairly quick. Has a hazy golden appearance. Aromas of citrus and herbal hops. Flavours are nice fruity and citrusy notes, a little tangy as well. Somewhat of a bitter mouthfeel, much more in the finish. Also has a pretty smooth mouthfeel as well, making it enjoyably sessionable.
