Rated in Oct. 2015. 22oz bomber pours with a clear deep gold body that supports a near white head. The aroma offers up lagery like fruity esters, stewed prunes and figs, sugary sweetness and a light molasses sensation. The taste delivers winter spices, yeasty sweet fruity esters, more nutmeg and cinnamon like spices and then rolling into a smooth near nectar like juicy fruity sweetness. Interesting. There’s a good deal going on here but it remains somewhat balanced between all of the sweetness and the sharper spicy notes.

Pours clear amber with a frothy eggshell head - typical, but appealing. Malty aroma presents notes of cinnamon and fruit, plus a snip of vanilla. Flavor echoes the aroma, and adds a bit of carrot. Carrot beer? Not nearly as bad as it sounds. (To be fair, I love carrots!) This is a little like drinking a liquid carrot cake. Body and fizz are average, leaving a malty and cinnamon finish. Do you carrot to try this?
