Dark chocolate covered espresso beans, baked brownies, and the distinctive flavor of roast barley are all present in this beguilingly strong ale. 12 oz can. Pours dark brown black with a huge creamy tan head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is roasted grainy black patent malts with some sweet lactic chocolate
The flavor is heavily roasted (burnt) chocolate malts with black licorice and a little sweet fruit. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, a bit too roasted.
