When spring is approaching, it is time for Jopen Lentebier. A top-fermenting blonde with a large dose of American hops and a good hand of coriander seeds. These ingredients give the beer a substantial fruity bitterness. Jopen Lentebier is not a meibok, because they are often undergassing with a sticky, sweet mouthfeel.

Somewhat jazzy golden yellow with lasting, lacing foam head. Aroma is quite hoppy, so is taste. Nice aftertaste. First of many Jopen beers while visiting the wonderfull city of Haarlem. (Haarlem 201304)
