750 ml corked and caged bottle. Poured in the original Jessenhofke stemmed glass an unfiltered and hazy rich golden-amber coloured Spiced Ale with a light beige and soapy foamy head that had a long retention and tons of micro bubbles and some bigger one. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is moderate sweety malts, honey notes and a bunch of herbs, within thyme donminated. The flavour is sweety caramel malts, yeast, powerful herbs and spices, thyme, rosmarin, ail, notes of dried fruits, walnuts. The mouthfeel is fulled, fizzy and a bit sticky. The texture is quite watery. This medium bodied Spiced Ale has a dry herbal bitter finish. A quite original and interesting Spiced Ale. Anyway it should be clearly classified as a Spiced Ale and not as a Abbey Tripel
