This inspiring and different beer type has its roots in a old pilsener, that has been adjusted to meet the mordern day demands. The very light colors combined with the light use of caramel malt makes the beer easy to drink - it is neither too heavy or with to powerful a mouthfeel. With its light character, Mekong is the perfect partner when the thirst need to be quenched. On top of the bbers aroma hops is a refreshing note of fresh flowers and and lemon grass - which balances perfectly together with a background of light malts. All together it makes the beer very refreshing. A well poured glass of Mekong has a light and fluffy head. The beer is fresh in the mouth and with a very refreshing effect.

An amber beer with a huge light orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of grass as well as some floral hops. The flavor is malty with notes of floral hops, caramel, white bread, and towards the end some dusty hops, the finish is quite bitter and with a touch of lemon. Quite refreshing.
