Pale blond in colour and naturally cloudy, being unfiltered, Jenlain Fraîche is pleasing to the eye and to the palate, with its fine, light taste. Stronger than white beer and less bitter than blond beer, it has a subtle hint of hazelnut which gives it its characteristic fruitiness. With its low alcohol content (5 % alcohol by volume), it is also low in calories. Best served chilled but not too cold, at between 5 and 6 °C.

Not so much a diamond in the rough like i'd thought but still a decent beer... a golden hue, bubbly white head. First smells are noble hops, some grass and citrus. Fine bubbles. Mouthfeel seems a little weak in the finish although its crisp and very refreshing. Sweet & sour, sugar and hay, and butterscotch past the finish

Bottled. Slightly hazy pale golden colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is earth, caramel, yeast, malts and slight grassy hops. Also some very "earthy" note, which I really cant describe that well. Earthy diacetyl maybe?

cloudy white colour, giant head and a nice lacing, lemon and spicey aroma, refreshing, lot of character, sweet and medium-bodied, long aftertaste - very nice
