Desciption - We took a decadent Honey Wheat Wine and placed it into a woodford reserve bourbon barrel 4 months ago. Tipping the abv scales at 12%, Wood Ya Honey is a a beer to be savored. Flavors of caramel, honey, vanilla, wood, and bourbon intermingle creating a crimson colored delight.

One of the thicker wheat wines to pass my lips, dark and hearty. Mild bourbon influence with a more pronounced vanilla and wood characteristic to compliment the dry and sweet wheat. Lots of toffee and a touch of lightly roasted malt come into play. Great beer to sip on after a hearty breakfast of corn beef hash and eggs at the brewpub.
