Sometimes that initial sip of a new beer seems to slow down everything around you as your senses immediately take stock of the goodness that just passed over your lips...this is one of those beers. An opaque black body thick as can be with a short lived head and crazy legs. Huge high end coffee upfront that leads you into a masterpiece of rich roasted and burnt malts along with dark berries, gourmet chocolate, vanilla, oats and brown sugar. For an extremely high abv (it's not the 12% officially stated, due to current oHIo limits) the mouth feel is superbly rich and smooth with a surprising delicateness. Draft only, I can only hope we cross paths in the future.
