Just Released! Special “Sour Ale” version of Gatekeeper only available in the Imp Store. This batch of Gatekeeper was brewed like all the rest but then specially fermented and aged for nine months. The result is an amazingly flavorful ale that starts sour, evolves into roasted malt and coffee flavors and finishes crisp. This is a very refreshing beer with a moderate alcohol level of 5% ABV that makes a surprisingly drinkable warm weather beer. Our Special Sour Gatekeeper is available only at the Imp Store for $9.39 + tax for a six pack. Single bottles are also available. Cheers!

Lifeless brown body, sour fruit and roasted nutty aromas. Perky twangy mouth feel. Good flavors of a robust base porter along with a noticeable fruity sour dimension.

This one courtesy of kinger. What an interesting beer: part Sour, part Brown Ale. Day old brown black coffee color pour with no head nor lacing. First smell is of soured watered-down coffee, then the aroma blossoms into slightly sour ripe fruits and toasted malts with a touch of smokiness and cocoa. Taste is a touch thin but still a mix of a warm toasted malty brown mixed with a tart cherry-ness of a Sour. Likable, different, tasty. Thanks Cory for this very unique brew.
