Cask; Regular. Also available bottled. This traditional dark mild won the bronze medal at the SIBA Northern region beer competition 2010 as well as being voted the winner in its class at Bradford beer festival 2010. The blend of 5 malts used in the mash give a smooth, mellow easy to drink malt flavour with a hint of liquorices in the finish.

March 2014: Sample from bottle at hotel room tasting. ABV is 3.7%. Dark brown colour, moderate off-white head. Mild roasty notes in the aroma. Smooth and pleasant flavour, mild roasty notes, hints of mild coffee and chocolate, but not sweet. I could easily drink a few pints of this one. Will buy again.
