Pours slightly hazy mahogany with a thick and fairly persistent buff head. Aroma presents ginger, cinnamon, toasty malt, subtle bourbon and woody tones. Flavor yields nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, bourbon, toasted malt and woody tones. Texture brings decent smooth body and peppy fizz. Merry Christmas, or Saturnalia, or Yuletide, or whatever your celebrate!

Brown color with a lasting brown head and bubbly lacing. Aromatic spices and sweet malts with a very faint hint of bourbon. Nutmeg, ginger and some cinnamon. Nice and malty with a subtle smoothness. Warming with a soft creaminess, it drinks fairly easily and the spices quickly fade in the aftertaste. Full flavored and balanced . Almost identical to the regular version, the barrel aging was too subtle to really impact this already grand spiced seasonal. Prefer the original as it's less pretentious.
