HopEra Saison Bretton - Assemblage I
HopEra Saison Bretton - Assemblage I

Bottle from the brewery, 6% - maturée en fût de chêne - with 25 IBU. Nice effervesce reminding me of Champagne. Light golden colour, hazy with a frothy white head, very good retention and some thick creamy-foamy lace. Earthy aromas with the sourness from the Brett with citrus notes of Saison, grapes, vinegar and very mild oak. Very sour flavours, but does not stick on the tongue, but in the back of the throat. Lots of grapes, vinegar and white currant. Again, the oak barrel is very mild to blend things. Quite special and well-brewed.
