Cask; Seasonal - Sept & Oct. A dark reddish – brown ale with a slightly smokey flavour, due to the addition of Peated Malt, normally used in Whisky production. First brewed in 1999 to celebrate the centenary of the Brewery`s steam engine which is still in daily use.

Cask at The Golden Lion, Ipswich. Deep brown colour. Full malty flavour, prunes and forest fruits aroma, hints of English malt vinegar and HP Sauce in both aroma and flavour. Dusty finish. Nice.
