As I pour this one into the glass I see a reddish mahogany, but once in the glass, as it settles, it paints more brown. A big sudsy textured, eggshell white head rises robustly above. Great hang time on the head. Settles into a thick lacing of low hanging film , ringlet and persistent cap. Malty nose with hints of vanilla and barrel cask. More of that in the tasting. Blended well. Heavy bodied, nearly syrupy. .

Poiured a dark amber color with a decent head. It had a smoky aroma with a touch of hops. It showed a flavor strong with roasted malt and had a very smooth finish.
