Shared bottle with Jason. Deep brown pour, almost flat, some lacing. Malty nutty sweet nose and palate, you really get the walnuts in the nose and flavor! Then it's funky and woodsy oak, tart and sour, vanilla and acidic/tannin, tasty and unique. So glad to try this thing - thanks Jason!

375 ml bottle poured into a snifter - deep brown with a load of soapy head. Strong walnuts on the nose with a side of vinegar. Creamy mouthfeel with a good bit of acidity. This tastes like getting hit in the face with a sack of walnuts while sucking in lemon candy. The walnuts are really pronounced but really blend well with the base beer. It is not over the top tart, but it's balanced well. I'm very happy to have tried.
