Named for the weight of their shot, the most common naval cannons were called "six pounders". At Heavy Seas, that means a six pack of crisp clean Pounder Pils.

Pours light gold with a bubbly, short whitehead that fades fast. The aroma is grainy, grassy, floral with toasted hints. The taste is grainy, citrus, grassy, bready malt followed by floral bitterness. The mouthfeel is light bodied with a fizzy medium carbonation.

Pours clear yellow with a thick and fairly persistent eggshell head. Aroma offers crisp fruity and malty notes. Fruity, malty flavor has an underpinning of fresh-woody hops, and is quite drinkable. Body and fizz are average, but it goes down the pipes nicely. Pound one down!
