A monstrously big black ale aged for 4 months in eight year old Woodford Reserve Bourbon barrels. Flavors of vanilla, coconut, chocolate, coffee, cherry and bourbon are matched by the warming effects of the brew.

I had 2 glasses of this at the GTMW. The first one went down smoother than I imagined. The second one, almost put me out, but it was amazing. Black, creamy dark as night but not think. Head was small thin and brown. Taste was boozey, smokey and full of chocolate covered cherry notes. Aroma was not unique where ive had barrel aged brews before. But solid and bourbonesque. Vanilla, coffee and sweet ripe fruit.
