Pours opaque coffee brown, not much head. Smoky aroma has whisky, woody, treacle (this is an English beer!) and licorice notes. Flavor has to noes of whisky-infused oak, treacle, miso and roasted malt.texture seems a bit thin for a stout, but this is the beer’s weakest link. If ever you visit Merrie Olde England, keep your eyes peeled for this brewery.
