Named after the ancient god of darkness, Leviathan Czernobog is a tribute to the hardy stouts originally brewed in England for shipment to the frigid Baltic. With notes of unsweetened chocolate, molasses, and dark fruit, this Russian Imperial Stout will withstand the darkest of winters.

Comes out of the tap a rich, dark coffee brown with a fine-bubbled tan head that leaves generous lacing. Hearty aroma has strong chocolate, caramel and roast malt notes plus hints of caramel and fruit. Robust flavor has a core of roast malt and coffee, chocolate, earthy, woody hop and caramel notes of varying strength. Each sip seems just a little different. It is slightly sweet, but not too much. Texture seems just a teensy thin for an Imperial Stout, but otherwise quite firm and fizzy. Darkness visible, and very tasty!
