The Demeter's Harvest is a Wheatwine with local 2 row pale malt, hard malted white wheat, and many buckets of honey from our friends over at BeeMaid here on Roseberry. The beer is finished with multiple American citrus hop varieties for a strong snappy hop aroma. So while not vegan, it is quite possibly one of the most interesting beers we've put out there to date and a serious contender for many best of lists in the coming year.

Clean unused motor, with a long lived white film floating on top. Tangerine, leather, wheat maybe, peach, all show up in the aroma. The aroma is yummy but very mild. Taste is phenomenal way better then the aroma. Orange pop with a leathery finish. Alcohol is noticeable but acceptable. Flowers, some spice, and molasses, strange spice, taste is kind of watery but still strong....that really makes no sense but I still say that's what it is. Taste is very sweet, and I got to agree with vertical Bacon strips I taste a ton of honey........ 1 hour later... Taste is getting very sweet......to sweet??? Not sure, beer doesn't seem to have enough hop to add bitter and balance out the sweet malts. DAAAA i loved this beer to start with now its getting so sweet and syrupy I almost can't stand it. Not sure what to think about this.
