A Western Canadian pilsner with its roots steeped in Czech tradition. A light beer, the Powder Hound greets you with a pleasant citrus aroma and continues with an earthy slightly sweet flavour. The combination of fresh Saaz hops, pure glacial water and local pale malts make this an ideal beer for all occasions.

I've tried this at the brewery and in the bottle, and neither one was outstanding. An average clear gold beer with a white bubbly head. The aroma is typically grainy malt, and some floral hops. The flavour is more of the same. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Rated from pint at the brewery. Standard gold body north American look (gold body with a short lived white cap). Beer smells like rugby fest in other words 20L of kokanee spilt and dried on my clothes. Taste is light and bready with a sweet finish. Taste is fairly clean but some skunk starts to show up when warmer. This is probly there easiest drinking and most likely their best seller here at the brewery.

Bleck. Fake Beer! I didn't like this at all. Deep gold, no head...the stuff was flat. Seasonal I guess, it should've been alot better than that. For people new to The Paw, don't let this be your judgement beer cause they got some decent beer, especially on tap. a bit hoppy, a bit yeasty and almost slippery. Claims to be a pilsner - I'd argue against that. Ick.
