    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

Rated April 2017. Poured up at Ratebeer Best 2017 Beer Fest where it exhibits a deep mahogany colored body that supports virtually no head at all. A swirl of the beer to bring up some bubbles shows how well this coats and nearly stains the glass. The aroma offers up rich nearly intense spicy maple with sort of residual sugars and a slight molasses in the background. Dang. The taste delivers rich roasted malt, dark roasted coffee, sweet molasses and kind of chocolate nuanced spicy maple… wow! It heads into the finish with lingering sweetened maple spiciness and some soft dark roasted coffee. If you’re into maple beer then this beer is for you.
